I've been re-watching on Amazon a mini-series that I first saw in 1985 on PBS in the US called "The Last Place on Earth" about the race to the South Pole between Amundsen and Scott. The music is by Trevor Jones and the opening credits feature piccolo trumpet. Anybody know who might have played the solo?
