I play alto saxophone and the Native American style wood flute, in addition to trumpet. Just wondered if there were other multi instrument players.

Played flute fairly well when I was still teaching and sometimes performed on it. Pawned it when I retired!!!!!
Functional on piano, play pretty much by ear. These days I mostly play finger style ukulele and sometimes djembe and ashiko. I'm a pretty good finger style uker. I can practice any time of day and not bother anyone. Too damn lazy to practice trumpet much.

Played bluegrass years ago (banjo) and a little guitar. Still pick them up occasionally when social situations make them fun. Nothing professional for sure.

I was actually a sax major in school, and I still play a lot of sax (Soprano, alto, tenor, bari and even bass sax in my stable of horns). I picked up trumpets for college band and drum corps, and quickly realized the upper register came fairly easy to me.

With my street band it is not uncommon to go from screaming some double Gs on trumpet to a saxophone in the same set.

I also play clarinet and flute as doubles usually playing sax in a big band, and at least a few times a year I perform on tuba/trombone/baritone so I really get around a bit! I'm fairly comfortable on most of them, flute or the trombone slide needing the most work to keep my chops up

I've played tuba and trombone professionally.

I've doubled on flute, recorder, alto horn, and euphonium on paying gigs, but it certainly wasn't my flute or recorder chops that got me the gigs in the first place.

Learning the diatonic and chromatic harmonicas. The diatonic (mostly playing blues) is fairly intuitive, but learning how to breathe and play melodies in the chromatic is a chore. I have a Claude Girdon background and find myself all tanked up with air and suffocating on the chrom. Good times!

I started on clarinet, and didn't touch a trumpet until the Summer before 10th grade. Then 2 1/2 years later I was 1st Chair All-State in Florida on trumpet.

Started playing clarinet again 5 years ago just to teach my then 9 year old daughter how to play it. She is now well on her way....

As a band director, I have had the fun of playing all the traditional brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments for many years (taught 12 years of small group beginner/intermediate lessons). That has slowed down since I've made the move to high school the past couple of years and only teach concert band (and guitar...which I still need much work on!). I miss playing everything on a regular basis.

Side note - this is my first post since the very early 2000s...which apparently is before Trumpetherald records were kept. I spend a lot of time on these forums during my undergrad days. Glad to be back on here!

Professionally at gigs...I play mostly piano / keyboards as well as trumpet and cornet. Oh yeah, I sing a little too.

Amateurishly....I can play some very basic beats on the drums.
I have been trying my hand(s) on acoustic guitar. I'm a total beginner at guitar.
And I have a harmonica that I try to play.

Trumpet, flugelhorn, keyboards, and bass. Am somewhat competent but out of practice on guitars.
Used to play a little drums.

Trumpet - Played semi-professionally, subbed with regional orchestras, etc.
Cornet - played semi-professionally, performed at international festivals
Alto/Tenor Horns - played in front of audience with professional group
Eb Cornet - played with ensemble in performance. Pretty good.
Piano - have accompanied elementary choirs in performances (not that I'm good at piano). Good at melody plus chords with practice. Passable otherwise.
Drums - performed in ensembles, played set in performances. A half tick above passable.
Euphonium, Trombone, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophones - performed in concert with ensemble. Pretty good at the Euph, solid/decent at the rest.
Guitar - accompanied elementary choir in performance, can do 3-7 chords. Passable.

Looks like no french horn. Whew.

Violin, Cello, Viola - have given elementary lessons on, can play a bit.

I also play guitar, and the ironic truth is I'm better at it.

Been taking lessons and playing the electric bass for the past 5 years, and Im play in a student band (for the classic hits set) at the same local music school where I play trumpet in a jazz combo.

The bass playing and the bass lessons have changed my trumpet playing for the better -- I hear more now -- and my practice habits. I play scales and apreggios on both instruments every practice session. I had stopped doing that on trumpet.

The ultimate goal is to learn to play upright bass. I'm making decent progress on the electric bass in learning to walk a bass line with some feeling and some conviction.
