Does anybody knows what's going on with qpress?

I placed orders on Sunday and Monday and neither one was (electronically) delivered. I have confirmation that I paid. Additionally, I emailed qpress about this and have not received a reply.

Thank you.

I had the same experience. I simply moved on and chalked it up to a lesson learned.

There are currently no issues with the website, and I responded to your PM asking for further info.

What issue did you have? I think the consensus from everyone on here will be that I respond to emails immediately and sort out all issues as quickly as possible. Are you saying you got in touch and did not get a response? Be in touch via PM or qPress support for immediate answers.

I ordered a book, didn't receive it, emailed you inquiring about it, and you said that the book was an e-book and not a hardbound. Okay, I said, but I didn't receive it. You said that the e-books are sent out immediately. Okay, must have been my mistake. I didn't want to fight about it, so I moved on.

If there is ever a question of where to find a book download (If the email receipt that inludes the link is misplaced/in junk/deleted/etc) just go to qPress.ca/my-account to log in. When you scroll down on that page you will find "Download" and "Orders" to find your download links and all past receipts.

Hope that helps!

If there was a problem with the site it appears to have been fixed. I ordered a few e-books this morning (9/23) and received them right away. Also, the only time I can recall having a problem with a qpress order Tim fixed it quickly. Hopefully you'll have the same experience. Good luck!

Done, thanks Timothy.

p.s. I don't know how this happened, but I'm being charged three times for the same book. Is there any chance I can get a refund for two of them since it's obviously an error? If not an outright refund, can I at least get a credit?

Thanks, Kehaulani

If anyone follows up on this, it was my error. I left a letter out in my email address.

I had great service from qPress. I initially thought that I didn't receive the PDF version of the book that I bought. When I contacted them, I got a response in less than ten minutes... on a Sunday. The link for my digital copy was in my order receipt. Still waiting on the physical copy but I have no reason to think it won't arrive shortly.

I have never had any trouble with things I ordered from QPress. You do have to download them. They are not "delivered" in that sense. You can go to your downloads page on your account at any time. Some books have unlimited downloads, others have a limited number (not sure why, but I guess it is agreements with the copyright holders.)

I have only had excellent experiences with qpress and I consider it to be a wonderful resource for the trumpet playing community. The eBooks are extremely high quality and easy to read on my tablet, and I find the prices extremely fair.

I ordered a few pdfs directly from qPress. The entire process was quick and easy.

Some time after that I ordered some books from qPress via Hickeys. It took some for Hickeys to have the books printed out. They used Lulu.com for the printing, which I guess delayed the ordered. I was very happy with what I received, when I finally received it.

Just browsing through the qPress catalog makes me feel like a kid browsing in a toy store.
