I mean, there's a lot more going on than just scales here. But the first scale he utilises is a bebop major scale (which is a Ionian Major Scale with an added #5) and he also uses some b9 and #9 variations on dominant chords.
Scales are fine, but realistically there's more to it. He does a great job of outlining the chord changes. Look into that, way more useful for this kind of improvising. _________________ Brae Grimes
