Anyone know if a Bach Strad stop rod will also fit a vintage Conn 22B?

Bach Strads only have a stop rod on third slide, Conn 22Bs only have one on the tuning slide (for Bb/A quick-change). The Conn requires something more than twice the length of a 3rd valve stop rod. Were you thinking Conn 2B ??

No, definitely 22B. The horn plays great without the rod but I’d like to get it back to stock or close to it.

Thanks for the info!

Jim

I had a heck of a time finding a picture of one of those stop rods. I have 5 22B early models and one Victor - none with stop rod remaining. (they are so big they become annoying) Here is a 22B Late Model on Ebay though that has the 1950s version (which is a 5-40 thread like Bach, the earlier ones were either 6-36, or 6-32)

I had to have my lumbar fusion redone and they gave me the hardware from the first one. Maybe there’s a part that will fit.
