Outstanding! Claude`s double tonguing sounded like a machine gun;Band was great too,and the lead player was all over it; Thanks for the post!

It sure was great hearing Billy May charts played by top LA guys. Gordon could certainly play. In a way he played in a Clarke style with these great charts.

The double-tonguing sections remind me a little of AL Hirt, such as in Al's recording of the Green Hornet (Kill Bill) theme. And the piece herein called Brassman's Holiday is almost identical to Holiday for Trumpet, again recorded by Al Hirt.

It is interesting to compare and contrast the different versions by these great artists.
