Two Bb days in a row! Pretty quick fingers there. Great work.

Episode #331

This was composed by a young lady from the LA Phil's Composer Fellowship program. I actually recorded this before Christmas, hence the old look.

Very intriguing piece. What is the instruction/notation for what you are doing at the end, just air and valve sound? I never saw that before.

Just listened to #331-333. #331 is a really interesting composition. Fun to hear something different like that -- particularly the ending. #333 Snedecor etude is wonderful. Thanks so much for continuing to record and share these terrific videos!

I really enjoyed listening to those soft landings over the larger intervals. Great stuff as usual.

This could be a headlong rush into chaos. Wonderful how you keep the forward movement, but keep it under control to bring out the musical elements.

I couldn't help but notice how the fronts of the notes flowed here. Very consistent but not manically so, enough variation to set the tone of the piece. Quite brilliant.
