I recently bought a vintage 1903 Buescher Epoch cornet with the three different valve heights. The body overall is in great condition but it's missing a few parts. Both the top and bottom caps on the third valve, finger buttons, and water key assembly with reservoir. Anyone with a parts horn out there? Preferably silver plated. I was able to find a baritone cap that fits the bottom ok but these oversize valves really need original parts.

I have one in parts. The parts are actually solid silver and should not be silver plated. I am out of the shop until next week but please email me at josh@jlandressbrass.com and we can talk there. _________________ Josh Landress

You got lucky with Josh. Generally it's a losing proposition to try to rescue a hundred-year old instrument missing too many parts. _________________ 1950 Buescher Lightweight 400 Trumpet
