Any recommendations on livestream shows?
My recommendation would be the Jerry Bergonzi Quintet Livestream, which you can view via Facebook by Jerry Bergonzi Quintet Livestream. It features Phil Grenadier on trumpet. This group has a livestream show every Wednesday night.
Absolutely masterful modern jazz playing. Plus, if you go to this website, you can download the Bergonzi catalog for free (per the site, Bergonzi gave it his blessing). I'll follow the available lead sheets while they're playing.

One other recommendation:
Jazz trumpeter John Raymond has a live Podcast, "Trumpet Summit," where he interviews trumpet players. Being John Raymond is a fantastic player in his own right, he provides thoughtful and in-depth interviews. So far, he's interviewed:
- Tom Harrell
- Marquis Hill
- Ingrid Jensen
- Terrell Stafford
- John McNeil _________________ Brent |
