A most unusual C trumpet from Carol Brass:

Can't help but want to try one just for the fun of it!

Pretty! I like the shape and the bronze bell. I wonder who the target audience is?

Not sure! Maybe jazz players who would prefer to play an instrument in C?

For the downstream player to get the bell out of the stand.

It's like they copied the bell angle on some of the new rotary trumpets, but did it on a piston trumpet for some reason.

I don't know if Carol makes rotary blocks, but they do make parts for Schagerl. Does anyone know if all of the PSM (phosphorous) bronze bells are 2-piece? Are both pieces phosphor bronze, or is it a bronze stem and gold-brass flare?
