Do trumpet cases fit all trumpets?

I've got a '55 Olds Ambassador Fremont trumpet.

Gator Cases looks sturdy.

Guardian too.

Not sure what is what.

Fremont or Fullerton California ??

Most trumpet cases fit most trumpets. The Ambassador is a pretty standard wrap and fits most cases. All I have tried, anyway. The Olds Super trumpet leadpipe puts the mouthpiece receiver a bit further out than most, and might cause a problem in a case that was tight, as would one of the Conn "trumpet wrapped" cornets. Also, if a case has a case bed that holds the valve cluster in a fixed position, the Olds Recording and Super Recording or other "balanced model" trumpets might not fit. Most aftermarket cases give some leeway for most horns.

Consider contacting the case manufacturer, they may have had that question for your particular instrument before and might be able to answer it.

When I got a Protec CT case for my Olds Recording, I had the same concerns as you did. I sent a mail to my tech (where I also ordered the case) and he mentioned he had a similar instrument in the shop and tried to see if it fit (and it did).

In your case, the Olds Ambassador isn't that oddly shaped so I agree with huntman10 that it'll probably fit most if not all trumpet cases.
