Hi
1) I know of this option. No personal experience but the website mentions it specifically.

2) Call Ron Partch in Toronto best brass tech in Canada! All the Toronto pros use him Not sure if he does valve rebuild but probably knows somebody.

Good Luck!

There are people who offer rebuilds, but all of them will send the plating portion to Anderson silver plating.

My name is Jan Buneta, and I'm the owner of one of the shops mentioned above: the trumpet guy.

I get the valves plated at Andersons.
Given the quality of Andersons plating, and the extremely high cost of professional plating in Canada, it makes the most sense.

I do have plans to revisit the idea of using a local shop for the plating, to decrease the turnaround time. So this may be a possibility in the future. The system I have in place right now, though, works very well.

You can get in touch with me at jan@trumpetguy.ca for more info, pricing, and turnaround times.
