Considering I've been stuck at home for most of the past year, all is good.

Hope all Ignorers are doing well, especially our Great Creator, Musicmork.

Now back to our regular scheduled ignoring

Hi trumpetmike,

Nice to hear from you.

Unfortunately, this covid19 virus can't be "ignored".

Stay safe and be well.

Musicmork,
I'm just glad covid 19 has ignored me so far. Wishing the same for the rest of the ignorers.

@musicmork -- Hope you are doing much better now!

We've been working, actually more than ever due to staggered hours and covering for folk who can't, so hoping the end is in sight. It has hit our family enough, directly and indirectly...

Doing great, our band is gigging again. 5 gigs in the past 2 months, getting back on track.
We have been ignoring quarantine for the most part, have 144 charts in the bag ready for performance. The only thing that has kept us sane.

We have lost 2 members in the past year, one from cardiovascular failure, that was hereditary from age 2 days, and to her credit, made it to 48 years old. My girl, and the finest percussionist I've ever played with, RIP Robin. She kept the beat and tempo without fail.

My man, Jimmy, into the Mystic, my brother. Sailor, electrical engineer, rhythm guitarist extraordinaire. We hoisted a few before 10 AM, on Mobile Bay, and barely made it back to the marina, will miss you. Only person I know who could do dialysis 3 times a week and still play a 4 hour gig, while in renal failure. He surpassed all expectations, but would've expected no less.

Vocal chops...fair but getting better
Trumpet /Cornet chops....awful...need a lot of practice and some major dental work...ugh.
Drawing chops....great
Comedy chops....great
Veal chops.....I don't eat veal or pork.

Stay safe everybody....and remember..... "ignore this post".

I played one gig (socially distanced) last Christmas (2020), and then in March/April, started playing with groups again after getting vaxxed (fully vaxxed and now boosted). I've done several "gighearsals" and gigs this year with the Reflection Big Band, as well as a small pickup brass group (The Ecclectic Light Orchestra) that wanted to get some playing in, the local Oasis Brass Band (I met some of them in the small pickup group and was asked to play a charity event), my church, and the Concert Band I play with. The Concert Band even performed our Holiday concert this year to a very good crowd. I also played a very large Christmas concert with a full orchestra at one of the mega churches in the city. It was amazing. The Big Band has a New Year's Eve gig scheduled, which is still going forward according to the venue.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Back to ignoring this post.....

I've been too successful in ignoring this post, several years in fact. I'm just pleased that it's well and being suitably ignored by some of the original ignoramuses

Wishing to become Chief Ignoramuse...not sure how to obtain it. Should I comb my hair? Tuck my shirt in? Use deodorant? Clean between my toes?

I've ignored this thread for so long I almost forgot it existed.
Hope you all are doing well and practicing your long tones.

Wowww… after ignoring TH for about a decade, I had failed to actively ignore this thread for equally as long. So glad to see so much ignoring has occurred in my absence. Is this now the THIRD incarnation?

I’d stick around to find out, but have some ignoring to do. Be well, all!

It's comforting, though, to know that some things endure through the ages ...

How us everyone doing?
