Looks kind of like a King silver tone (without the silver)

That is one nicely made cornet, folks. Reverse tuning slide, rarely seen on a cornet, and a rather unique adjustable 3rd slide ring. Nice job selmer, and I hope it's a production horn that will see its way to America.

Very classy looking horn. I hope it plays and sounds as great as it looks.

It should at these prices (as of Oct. 31, 2005)
Selmer List 2494,00 euros = $3,005.84
Seller's price 2039,00 euros = $2,457.46

Yes, this DOES look like it could be another new serious contender for the Sovereign/Presitige slot......several french makers are currently showing intersest as the battle heats up........'Eclipse' launching,...'Willson' about to,...Yammy 'Xeno' from the mass production field already in the line-up...it's getting more and more interesting.

Well, for instruments like these this IS the price range (for silver plate and triggers anyway.)
