How old is the instrument (post serial # with last few digits x’ed out), and where is the “LP” stamped? |

On old instruments - like in the 1920's or so, "LP" meant "low pitch" which was A=440. I don't think Bach made high pitched instruments, and if he did, it was VERY early on.
So, I have no idea.
Post or link pictures, but I wonder about this.....
There are a lot of knockoff Bachs and that's the sort of mistake you could see on them.
FYI, Bach uses just "L" for large bore. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

Don't. I didn't get it either.
Descriptions should really stick to commonly used abbreviations. _________________ LA Benge 3X Bb Trumpet

I didn’t figure it out either until I searched and found LP being used for both low pitch and leadpipe. |

Yeah. I’ve never seen that abbreviation used before. _________________ The name I go by in the real world is Joe Lewis |
