Just wanted to give a shout out to Trumpet Herald member Jonathan Milam. I was asking about cornets and he pointed me to a cornet he'd had his eye on and referred me to the owner.
Today I picked up a pristine 1960-64 King Master model from its initial owner (bought in 64). One very small dent not affecting anything. Valves clean, slides smooth. The gentleman even wore the obligatory white glove when holding it.
Thank you Jonathan for letting me go for this. She's a beaut.
