Here is the link to the store that sells them.

https://www.orlandoswindinstruments.com/contact/

They are priced new at about the Getzen Capri, King Silver Flair (intermediate) level.

But you do have a link to the best way to get answers about the horns.

That would tell me all I need to know. They might be good, might be junk, but absolutely no information on the website? I’d pass.

I happen to agree with Brad that a website so lacking in information about a horn would influence my decision negatively.

But this doesn’t necessarily hold true for all levels of players. Some have no idea what the different specs mean and exactly what they need or will find works for them.

The information on the “about” page for Orlando’s Wind Instruments tells a story of a established company that has built a good reputation in their area.

If that page is to be believed, and I have no reason to not believe, they will probably be glad to consult with you.

I will repeat my earlier advice, contact them with your questions.

In my experience, most of the time, these instruments are Chinese built stencils stamped as [whatever] for the store.

That doesn't mean they're necessarily trumpet-shaped-objects, but it does kind of limit how good and how reputable they are.

So, let's assume these are stencils, which these are almost certainly, unless Orlando Music is building their own instruments in house, which they'd probably mention if it was the case.

Usually, a stencil is referred to as "Built in the USA" or "Made in Germany" or even "Made in Taiwan" if it's something other than a rando Chinese stencil.

So, basically you're paying Getzen Capri prices for .... not a Getzen Capri, but something built..... somewhere?.... by someone?..... for some price.

I know which way I'd go between those choices.

Still, feel free to contact and find out more info. Report back, if you'd like.

I suspect that they indeed are having the instruments made overseas, but with the background in instrument repairs I hope they rework the instruments to ensure quality.

Sure, that's possible. However, that's a lot of effort that most places don't make and usually they mention they do.

Also, there's lot of room between full on refitting and tweaking, taking a horn out of the case, blowing on it for 3 minutes and putting it back in, and finally, unboxing and pallet and putting them on the floor.

One wonders.

Also, at those prices, I'd just get something that is "pre-tweaked". Or go to ACB where I know they care and communicate.

From the website:

"In the late 1990’s Orlando began a new venture. The company branched out into designing and making musical instruments, through partnerships. In turn, the Orlando U.S.A. line was born through a partnership with a manufacturer and a sales company. This brought about a wholesale and later a retail store front to the company."

Make of that what you will.

If anyone wants actual answers, you'd have to contact them.
