I was given an older yamaha silent brass (rocket launcher looking mute for flugel and the older electronics receiver with reverb controls). Are the newer mutes compatible? Planning on just getting the newer Mute for the Trumpet version. |

Yes. I had an older model Silent Brass I bought in 2000 and simply purchased the newer mute a couple of yearsa ago. It works perfectly well with the old electronics. _________________ Best Regards,
