Welcome!
I am not a professional trumpet player. I am not even a very good amateur trumpet player. There is nothing that I can tell you that you don't already know. Just the same, I am glad to see you posting here on Trumpet Herald.
I have tried to learn a foreign language (Japanese). It is a very difficult thing to do so I admire people who manage to learn English as a second language. I don't think that English is a very easy language to master, but you seem to do very well. Congratulations.
Oh, I also took Russian in high school many, many years ago, but I was not a good student and have forgotten all that I learned.
What type of music do you like to play? I play in church, usually with an organ. I hope to start a traditional jazz band shortly (Dixieland). I would like to play in a British Brass Band, but none are located in my area of the country. I also like brass ensembles that play music by such composers as Giovanni Gabrieli, Johann Pezel, Georg Philipp Telemann and the like.
I very much enjoy Russian liturgical choir music (Gretchaninov, Rachmaninoff, Chesnokov and so forth) but that has nothing to do with trumpets. The deep, Russian basso profundo voices are wonderful to hear.
I look forward to reading your posts.
Avoid COVID. Stay healthy.
Warm regards,

They all have a different character like trumpets, it remains only to believe in luck as in Russian roulette |

My Number 1 Supporter, Ljubov, is from Moscow and I feel the luckiest person alive. Of course we are still at the so called "honeymoon" stage. (of which tomorrow is Day5169)

Orchestras in the USA are almost entirely supported by private funding. This can be both good and bad. _________________ Please join me as well at:

That's fine. Just realise that that doesn't necessarily translate into meaningful income. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

I understood that))it's already about creativity and opportunities to play music with live musicians, here now I have to play at home with electronic bonus tracks for my two cats))I want to do this with real people, but it's always not easy to collect them in one place) |
