I was having some minor lip irritations from my standard mouthpieces so after some research I ordered a Austin Custom Brass 3CS mouthpiece in acrylic. It is amazing...I have put about 12 hrs on this mouthpiece and have zero lip problems. Also I cannot begin to say how awesome the team at ACB was to work with. I look forward to my next purchase! |

Totally agree about ACB. I have one of their acrylic mouthpieces for playing outside in the cold. Playing it lead me to buy a metal top for the same backbore. It has become my go-to mouthpiece for my Yamaha YTR-6335, which is also my outside horn. They really work well together. b _________________ Bb: Schilke X3L AS SP, Yamaha YTR-6335S

ACB has been so easy to work with.
I have a 3DS and 3ES in acrylic as well as the 3CS - all same size rim but different cup depth. I also got made a 3CS-V Heim mouthpiece in acrylic. I have to be honest - I really like the sound/play of the V instead.
They can pretty much make the 3CS rim with any cup size you want.
