Came across a comment on Pierre Thibaud’s Charlier #2 recording and it was talking about how he had a very old school French style of vibrato.

I do a fair amount of listening and notice certain aspects of playing like this and I wanted to know if there are any good sources/reading material that can help inform me on not only the history of playing trumpet, history of orchestral style, etc. anything trumpet related. For ex I know there’s a good read out there by William vacchiano which I don’t know the name too, thanks.
