What kind of maintenance on the finish is required for a horn finished in satin lacquer? Thanks.

In my experience, nothing you would not do for a clear lacquer over polished brass finish, wipe with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth, etc. I do think that actual satin gold plate finish can be more difficult to maintain though; I once asked someone from Andersen about that.

The satin or scratching is on the brass under the lacquer. The lacquer is exactly the same as a polished Finish.
