Didn't Dallas audition for a new principal last week? Any news?

They did their prelims/semis rounds. There’s a handful of finalists who will come back to play in Jan.

In order for the audition to have the appropriate amount of confidentiality, candidates still involved in the process should probably remain anonymous. No harm in being curious of course - I’m also looking forward to seeing who is the eventual winner. But many auditions are blind throughout and the Dallas audition is not going to be over until the finals are actually over in January. We’ll just have to be patient. Good luck to all of the candidates!

Good point. I didn't realize they did blind final rounds there or wouldn't have asked. Just curiosity, big job.

I'll bet $2 on the following:
- undergrad, younger than 23
- coming from Colburn or Rice

Principals can have principles, but principles can never play principal

Can only imagine the pressure. Especially who they will be replacing! RIP Ryan Anthony.

Stuart Stevenson won the audition. Atlanta will have a "small" vacancy to fill - Ha! Congrats!

Finalists were: Russell Campbell (auto advanced), Elmer Churampi (auto advanced) John Parker, Cody McClarty, and Kevin Karabell (only player to play a prelim that made it to finals).

Who won the utility position?

That audition has not begun yet. Prelim/Semi rounds are in January and finals are in February.
