Vince Giardano and the Nighthawks are a must listen. An older recording named The Goldkette Project<a recording of Paul Whiteman material arranged by Bill Challis is a fantastic album.
The band can be heard every Monday and Tuesday at Club Cachette in NY city. You tube them, you will be amazed!

I would have a hard time placing that as a contemporary example of Bix, sound-wise or stylistically.

Would anyone know which Volume of the Bix Restored series has I'm Coming Virginia? I think it was with Frankie Trumbauer.

The song listings on Amazon, and this:
https://originjazz.com/product/bix-restored-volume-1/
say it's Volume 1, CD#3.
