I have. As everyone including me should have expected, he showed me something very simple I sort of knew but wasn't actually doing. Specifically, I was not keeping up the air sufficiently while slurring down, and as a result my slurred notes almost sounded articulated. He sketched out an exercise for me to work on that, and I've been doing it attentively several times a day. It's improving. I only signed up for the one lesson though I paid for four. Given the total craziness of the holiday season, I decided to forgo more lessons for the moment, and perhaps do one a month starting in January. I'm in no hurry.
