Yes, it involves some Mingus recollections, then the playing starts. And, yes; Christian Scott is impressive!

Yes, the link takes you to a concert of Mingus stuff, but if you listen to it, Christian Scott is featured. You have to be a bit patient to get to him. He first shows up at 4:30, but he plays through the entire show. The trombone player is pretty impressive as well.
