I thought that I would start off by saying that I've recently found that a (1951) Martin Committee trumpet can use the valves from a (1955) Martin Imperial trumpet and vice versa of course. Also Martin Cornets (Committees and Imperials) exchange valves perfectly. Now the amazing thing is that my 1951 #3 Committee trumpet works fine with Martin Imperial cornet valves and Martin Committee cornet valves. The valves can be a little tighter or looser on different model switches, but, they all work great when oiled up! Any other unusual horn part exchanges out there?

Do something with every note you play. Sometimes the rests are more important than the notes
