Hi, guys!

I haven't played since college (1986) and I just bought the same model trumpet, a Benge CG and a Schilke mouthpiece...the same setup I had way back then!

I heard it takes a long time (6 months to a year!) to get back into shape

Wish me luck!

Thanks,

Ken

Thanks, guys.

I'm just starting breathing exercises from Claude Gordon and got his and Clarke's book ahead of the trumpet's arrival.

Slow and steady...well, being older now, that should be a little easier

How are you guys finding your comeback?

I just did my first mouthpiece buzz.

It wasn't pretty for sure, but at least it's a start!

Welcome back to trumpet playing.

Most important thing: Enjoy the ride.

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum, a young 30-something going to have to sell my first real love of a trumpet. Hopefully I can buy her back someday! You give me hope
