Did you ever find out the answer about this Besh-Ge-Toor Special? I now have one too and am trying to figure out whether it is an HN White stencil?

The second valve on it is shot so I am also trying to see if anyone has a replacement for it...

I know nothing about this trumpet, but an old listing for one at the Salvation Army has some pictures of it.

Joshua’s Horn has a current thread about this horn, which I believe is why he resurrected this thread. But it doesn’t have pictures of the horn so your find is a plus to that thread too

Yes, thank you so much for posting those pictures. That is indeed the same horn, which in a very round-about way found its way to me in Singapore last week! (Unfortunately the horn suffered a few dents along the way but the real problem remains the damaged second valve).

As per the other thread, I believe it may have been a stencil brand for a music store in Jamestown, New York which no longer exists.

Thanks again for posting the photos. I am not quite sure how to add that link to the other thread but will try to do so in order not to have two threads going.

This could be "pre-Cleveland" by Sistek - the founder of Cleveland. Sistek had a "Special" cornet - perhaps a "Special" trumpet and trombone too.

OK - I thought the 2nd valve was totally missing.

How is the second valve damaged? Can you post a picture? Perhaps on your original post.
