H.W. Brass Saver.. & Blow Dry https://www.blowdrybrass.com

Then occassionally a snake that has a nylon covering over the flexible part - like a Yamaha trumpet snake.

Hmm... never thought about the brass saver, that's a new one, though I saw them in the catalog at the music store I worked at.

The Woodwind Pad Savers are popular and good ... in theory. In practice they're not, at least the lazy way most people use them. But, this isn't a woodwind forum, so whatever.

I've always meant to get a leadpipe swab from Tim, but haven't gotten around to it.

The HW product looks similar.

Not a fan of Blow Dry Brass, but that's just me. Might be alright. I've spent too many hours digging stuff out of student's horns - or having to send them to the shop - when they use these or spitballs.

Personally, I've got the same cleaning brushes I've had for years and years. Maybe a few decades. I've got a few new ones (cause music retail job) but haven't opened them because the other ones still work fine. I think they're the old Herco coated cleaning snakes. Considering that at least one of them (if not both) is older that Trumpet Herald itself, they're doing pretty good. If they're still at that level of quality, I'd go for those.
