I have a Seiko ST757 tuner and I'm not sure what pitch I should be using. It ranges from 415Hz-446Hz.

Can anyone help?

I would think most modern ensembles would go for A=440 Hz. Unless you had a renegade piano tuner. Our brass band has a summer concert series on Sunday evenings outdoors here in Texas, and when the temperature exceeds 100 degrees F, we tune about a quarter tone sharp, as most of the low brass can't pull their slides out enough, so that would be A= about 452 Hz..... Baroque ensembles and other older instruments might have other needs.

Over here - Sweden - most bands use 442 Hz! Pianos seem to be tuned at 442.A cultural thing?

-If you play in a wind band then the oboe often functions as the base line.
-In a big band everyone will have to follow the piano, whatever frequency this is.
-In a brass band? Probably the director´s tuner.

Might be otherwise - playing in different bands as I do - adapt!
