Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of these horns?
https://renaissancebrass.co.uk/products/trumpets/tjrenaissancebbtrumpets/4500bbtrumpet
They look a bit different to the usual Chinese stencils and I think they might be Taiwanese?

Cheers

Dale

I had one of their 6500SP Bb cornets which was ok but my repair man had a hellish job getting some spares. It was a few years back but as I recall it was only for the water key. Are you sure they still manufacture trumpets as the 'dealer' link doesn't go anywhere.

I'm pretty sure they don't make them anymore but there are still a few available from dealers online.

Trevor James saxes are reported to be well made, good tonal qualities etc. Can't speak for the trumpet range though, but I'd have no reason to think they'd be poor quality. However, I wouldn't buy one.

Looking back at what I paid for the Trevor James I would have been better off getting a Yamaha.

I emailed Trevor James and to my surprise they actually told me that they are made from Taiwanese parts and assembled in China.
I had the vain hope that they were made by carolbrass or similar 😄
