Ok, so, I have no idea what the hold up is. I think they are having second thoughts about the cease & desist order they sent me. So who makes the next move?

If you would like to see the demand they made, message me and I'll send it and you can laugh.

You need someone (probably a lawyer) who can do the digging and research to find and track the actual 'business records' and 'estate probate records' related to those various businesses and any written agreements.

Thanks, bottom line, is the transfer. Nothing else matters in IP world. There was no will. There was a transfer. When people give things away before they die, this eliminates the need for a will.

It seems my mother acted as if she were my father's sister then went from there.

Another funny thing, when I was taken to court for trade-mark infringement for the Steve Cass Ultra-Fast oil, there was simply no will, and why I was shut down, I had the rights to buy oil but not put Steve Cass on the bottle.

Now that we know about the transfer, and IP rights, it appears the Steve Cass Ultra Fast had more of a right to exist than Al Cass Fast!

Now THAT is Weird if I do say so myself.

Seems really weird to air this out all publicly, TBH. You should get a lawyer.

This is brass history in the works my friend. You are experiencing an end of the long Al Cass IP ownership saga. You are hearing it direct.

Some people want to know what the hell is going on. Sorry if this doesn't apply to you.

Thanks.

Well, it does sort of. I want to be able to buy mouthpieces you could sell. I would imagine a lawyer wouldn't think the route you're taking is the way to go, but perhaps I'm wrong.

This isn't the route I am taking to put an end to this, I am just letting those who have been waiting the past years know what's going on, that I haven't run out on that promise. It's now out in the open and so we are now at the point of no return.

The tragedy here is the disintegration of a family. So sorry about that, Steve.

I figured it was high time the genius was exposed, the language of mouthpieces! Glad you enjoy browsing them. I was hoping the notes may inspire study, discusion and experimentation. A lot of players tell me because of the notes, they now think differently towards their craft. SUCCESS! Thank you!

Secrets are cool but there comes a time and I think that time was long over-due. I compare them to the notebooks of Leonardo Da vinci.

Remember, the oil was not made as per the likings of Al Cass, it was formulated especially for Dizzy Gillespie. DIZ is the one who put the final OK/Aproval on it, it was made FOR HIM, no one else. If good enough for Diz, who was probably the FAST est, (hence FAST) it should also find other's other's who aprove.

A few years back I was able to buy a gallon, yes a gallon, of Steve's valve oil with the Lusup brand name. This was made to the original Fast formula. With regular Al Cass oil it was necessary to use it every other day. The original formula seems to last nearly twice as long. I refilled all my old bottles of Hettman's, Yamaha Synthetic and a few other major brands. No problems with it at all. Valves ran well and I refilled other players in my section who were also more than happy with it.
I still have about a third of a gallon left. At age 73 I'm considering putting it in my will.
