So I had an old unused Bauerfiend valve block lying around (as you do). And I was in Norwich, so thought I'd give it to Andy Taylor to do something with.

They sure know how to make pretty trumpets.

A super rare HN White King Liberty 3B from 1937 in pristine condition.

I don't think I've shared pics of this before -- my King Mini-Liberty:



It's one of the ones made in the key of A so that the proportions more closely resemble a full-size B-flat. From the serial number, I believe it was made in the 1930-31 time frame.

Great to see these horns...would love to hear the Taylor but yes looks great. I am on the edge of being lured to new trumpet... I wonder how many have changed horns because of this thread....

I bought it raw in 2018, and after a couple of years it started looking like I’d pulled it off the bottom of the lake. So I did some minor modifications to fit it better to my likings and had Tom Green do a trick lacquer job.
