If you filled your trumpet with TNT and set it off, how much would you need to hit a Double high C? Asking for a friend.

Unfortunately you have the TNT in the wrong piping. To hit a dubba C you need to consume the TNT in order to create the appropriate stream of air to buzz the dubba C.

Ah yes, this makes perfect sense. But then, what do you do with your embouchure when 50 megatons of TNT are trying to blast their way through?

Seems like a good time to practice calisthenics, perhaps.

You may find this video insightful. It’s mostly about trombones but the technique they discuss applies similarly to trumpets and other forward facing brass instruments.

In my personal experience I worked my way there with alot of Colin's lip flexibilities and a Bach 1c mpc. I considered employing the use of a former Navy Seal I had for a friend 35 years ago but he said they use C4 plastique explosive. Wasn't it Shakespeare who said, "a double high C by any other name would sound as sweet?"

If you consume the TNT you should warn those around you that things could get messy if you lose control and it blows out the other end.
