Back to School bundle available! Includes the entirety of the Essential Mute line, the Cup, Straight, and Picc mute. The cup can disassemble into a straight mute and plunger, so you basically get 5 mutes for a great price!

Note that the Essential mutes do not have detachable corks. If you want the detachable cork option check out my other bundle here:

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share some things with you all!

1- We are now making mouthpiece visualizers! My design features a rim on both sides of the device, one side is about a 7 and the other 1.5, sort of a small horn/large horn arrangement. These also feature a deflectable handle, so you can train yourself to maintain a buzz without applying too much pressure. We are also making combination trombone/bass trombone mouthpiece visualizers for those who may be interested (tell your trombone friends!)

Discounts are available for studio sets.

2- We are working on a custom mute to fit the awesome Inderbinen "Extra" trumpet. This horn features a 150mm diameter bell! Regular mutes WILL NOT fit this horn without modification! Stay tuned for more details.

3- Discount code Smute10 is still active for 10% off.

Just a follow-up. I've used my magnetic S-Mute each week for over six months in big band rehearsals and concerts, and I'm just as much a fan as I was after first buying it. I carry only a Harmon and the S-Mute (the magnetic flexible one) and I use the S-Mute for a straight, cup, or plunger.

Hey, Matt great to hear they continue to work well for you! I'm using the Multifunction Mute this weekend with the Sequoia Symphony, both as a cup and straight. I have done several "trial by fire" with my mutes and various conductors and the response has been very positive.

I'll sometimes stick the magnetic straight onto a Manhasset stand for quick access (the steel shaft portion) which will often garner curious looks from the woodwinds!

I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran starting to play again, after 53+ years. I do not remember what I did with my mutes. So I could use a great straight and cup mute.

Let me know if you still offer trumpetherald members discounts.
