Consortium for New Work for Trumpet and Electronics

There is a new consortium to commission composer Gerson Batista to write a new work for trumpet and fixed media and we are currently looking for musicians interested in participating in the consortium. The piece will be 10-15 minutes long and we expect the difficulty to be appropriate for professionals, graduate students, and ambitious undergraduate students. I won’t clutter this post with all the specific details, but they are discussed thoroughly in the form at the link below. Just thought I'd post about it here because I think this is going to be a very great opportunity for trumpet players to be involved in the further expansion of the repertoire!
