Hello everyone,
Dus anyone has experience with this model and maybe know what level this trumpet is? Student or high level?
On Ebay it is for sale, as used trumpet, for 3875 dollar. So very expensive.
Cheers, Bert

The really expensive one (BSC-TR501G) is based on a concept by Japanese artist Tomomi Kato.
There is a German language review here ... not sure how google translate copes with it

I have had already contact with the Trumpetscout, but he could not give me information about the Tr 308 Symphony model. And it is not listed anymore on the web-site but as the japanes trumpetplayer Ms Kana Madarame is playing classical music on a BSC trumpet I was wondering if she is using the Symphony model which is for sale in Japan for 3875 dollar LINK

My teacher plays this model https://www.brasssoundcreation.org/frame-TRP.html and gets a very dense and powerful sound on it. He said he likes the fact that the sound is quite flexible, but does not change from bottom to top if you approach the horn right. He also suggested that the builder wanted the sound to be very uniform and the compromise is that not all notes speak the same way. His comment was that this would not necessarily be a horn to just pick up and play or only play every so often (I took it to mean that it would require some level of skill to play it right).

Not sure if this applies to your horn.

In the German Trompetenforum there is a little bit of info. At least in the past, it looks like Kato sourced parts in the Czech Republic’s (or even had the horn built there are some point) but that is hearsay and I dunno anything about that, really.

Hi Bert, someone with your name is selling a BSC trumpet on EBayKA. Is this the model you were asking about or another one? How about sound and playability?

I received information about the Symphony trumpet today through "Gamonbrass"in Polen.
They contacted Tomoni Kato directly.

from Tomomi:

Symphony is a full professional trumpet. List price €2850.
TR501 WM is € 4550 in raw brass / € 5550 silk gold.

Kind regards,
Tomom

So, a quite expencive trumpet I have.
Only the ML bore doesn't fit me or maybe I have to give it some time and get used to it.
