Most of the recent Harmon 'WOW WOW' seems to be B models but i would like to buy an A.

For those who may not know the differences between each models

https://www.hickeys.com/search/products/sku093250.php

Here it is called the "Solomaster" - it matches the description of the model A: no stem and cup, no ridges around the body.

You might check it out.

That video on the history was fun. I think I would prefer to use the Swingmaster in a big band, but wow, adding a stem alone really makes it pop. If you didn't tell your band mates you had a stem in, they would really wonder how you got that projection.

Ah, crap! Now I will never get rid of those boxes of mutes that have been piling up in our guest room. I saw this and went scampering in to pull out a few Harmon mutes, and realized I had at least 4 of the modern versions. I still have more boxes to look through..... Anyway, I had hopes of throwing another "Mute Madness Garage Sale", but now I'll be prowling eBay looking for more variations.

And worse, my wife walked past and saw I was watching the You Tube demonstration, and worse, taking notes.

I notice her eye twitch seems to be returning.
