Getzen 900DLX (again)

One of these is for sale locally and I'm looking at it pretty hard. I honestly don't need another trumpet and maybe shouldn't buy another one, but the price is good, it comes with what looks like a cool case (this seems to be a black double case) and also has some nice extras. It's selling for <$1500 and is less than a year old.

My main reasons to get it are:
-It has some features I haven't had (the valve casing, the copper bell) and some I've liked on other trumpets (silver leadpipe)
-My son loves engravings and I really like the design; it might be for him (he currently plays a 506 carolbrass and a reconditioned Bach 72).
-I've never owned a Getzen.

I guess I'm curious:
-Is there anyone who's been playing this as their main instrument for a while now and what do you make of it?
-What would it give me beyond the Bach 37 and similar profile instruments I already have?
-Any thoughts on the copper bell? I have gold or red brass bells but have never had a copper bell.

Beautiful axe and great sounding. For me, I'd get it for all-purpose playing and particularly for combo jazz.

p.s. If you have to ask whether or not you need something, you don't.

I was looking at them when they came out but didn't need to spend that much on a second horn with a design so close to my Eterna Classic. I did find an old Super Deluxe Tone Balanced copper bell for $300 so I bought that. Obviously not in the same league but it scratched the copper bell itch.

Beautiful warm tone, even above the staff. Best way I can describe it is like melted chocolate.

If the $$ isn't a problem, get it.

I've heard varying things on the sound of the copper bell. There's thought that it gives one a darker sound, but I've heard from others just the opposite.

Thanks everyone! I bought it. It's my first Getzen but probably won't be my last. I've also been curious about the copper bell and I can't say yet how it if it is brighter or darker or projects more or less.

I feel really grateful to have gotten it and it came with two nice mutes and 5 mouthpieces as well as several Hetman oils. The case is also very cool. It's a solid lightweight case that can hold either two trumpets or a trumpet and a bunch of other stuff. It probably will become my travel case.
