Here is a video demo of a band I recently started. We have our first gig on February 26th at the White Horse Tavern in Black Mountain, NC.

How many "Dixieland" quartets have you heard with two tubas?

By the way, I think Tom Clary's Woodmutes are fantastic!

I hope you get a kick out of this little demo.

Thanks everybody!

By the way, we were all in the studio together. Bruce Lang had closed circuit cameras on each of us.

Some friends have been asking me if this was a bunch of guys who did this remotely, and it didn’t even occur to me that people might think that.

All live as it happened together in beautiful Barnardsville, NC!

(You can see Bruce through the glass in the control booth behind me.)

We’re playing twice in the next week. If you’re near the Western North Carolina area, this Sunday we’re there from 2:30 until 5:30:

The following Sunday (the 26th) we’ll be playing at The White Horse, formerly a car dealership, and a really nice music hall:

It’s always good to meet other Trumpet Herald people, so I hope some of you can make it out to one of these events.

By the way, if you don’t know who Bill Reichenbach is, look him up. He’s a legendary player you don’t want to miss if you can help it.

Thanks, everybody!
