I came across a strange Kenny Dorham "album" at the local used record store. I say "album" because there is no info anywhere about the record company, distributor etc. and disc itself looks like an off-the-shelf CD-R. Cover is a cheaply made xeroxed photo of Dorham and only says "New York 1967." Most of all, the content does not appear on any discography! Have I gotten myself a previously unknown KD bootleg for $5? I'll be happy to upload the rest if there's any interest out there

Yes that's it! Great lineup with David "Fathead" Newman, Paul Chambers etc. It was a very informal affair apparently, they really stretch out on each tune (Newman takes TWO solos on this track - once on tenor & another on flute) I'll be uploading the rest soon |
