I have a Carol Brass Pocket Trumpet. It's a nice horn, but the latches on the case failed within a year. I use a Gard Mid-Suspension Cornet Bag.

I have that same fear for my case, which is nice otherwise.

What is the bell diameter on your CB horn?

Thanks,
poketrum

I have a model CPT-3000. The bell is 4.75 inches.

I had a big-bell Carol pocket trumpet and used a cornet case, wrapping my horn in a hand towel to have it fit snugly.

Yes, it's the cornet Guard case that I use. It actually fits pretty good in it, even though it's a bit oversized.

Try Glenn Chronkite.

I have a cornet & a picc trumpet gig bag of his. Altho not an "exact" fit, I think they'd work fine for your pocket trumpet.

https://glenncronkhite.com/

I know that Walt Johnson made a few cases for pocket trumpets, but that was years ago and before he passed everything on to a guy in one of the Carolinas. They were fiberglass like his other cases, but it was small and fit to a pocket horn. I've never seen one for sale on eBay, etc.

Funny, I donated a Cronkhite cornet bag (housing a cornet) to the local school program no too long ago. Oh well...

The piccolo bag has possibilities. Dillon has one in stock that I could perhaps test fit.

trpthrld, do you think yours would accommodate a 4 7/8" bell?

Thanks,
poketrum

To answer your question - no idea.

That bag is currently in storage & not readily available. If you're near to Dillon's I'd think it's worth taking in for a fitting.

I took a small camera bag as a very minimalistic solution!
