Howdy folks,

The local community orchestra has a legitimate copy of Copland's An Outdoor Adventure. Except it's missing one part. Yes ... the 1st Trumpet part with a 40-measure solo. For the time being, we've photocopied, clipped and cobbled together a 1st Trumpet part from the score. But as you can see from the snippets below, it's pretty far from ideal and is hard to read. Any chance that someone out there has the part and can scan it for us? The 2nd trumpet part doesn't list an arranger, so I'm assuming that it's the original orchestral arrangement by Copland.

I'm not familiar with the business side of it, but the continuing education folks and conductor have not been able to procure a copy of the single part. I'm no lawyer, but this is a real copy that for whatever reason, folks are unable to fill the gap. Naturally if someone smarter than me at the Trumpet Herald knows better and this is a big no-no, I'll be happy to remove the post.

Here are snippets that we grabbed from the score.

NY Philharmonic Copy where the Trumpet 2 Part matches what we have. So we're looking for a readable copy of the associated Trumpet 1 part.

Thank you for your time and attention.

Sorry. I got a DM with the appropriate copy. I thought it prudent to let everyone know that I got the part.
