I don't know how to post a listing to sell my trumpet, can't find it on here. Can anyone show me how to do this?
It's a Yamaha Wayne Bergeron and I'm in San Jose, California. |

OK I found the Marketplace, now I have to figure out how to put an ad on there. _________________ Yamaha 8335LA with Blessing 3C, 5C, Schilke 11A4A |

There are other posts with more details. You can search for them on Google or bing using site:TrumpetHerald.com marketplace +todd
You might want to check out threads on picture sizes as adding pictures appears to fail if the pics are too large. |

I have successfully used the consignment sales of West Valley Music in Mountain View.

They do take a commission. But they earn it.

Screw the local music store. Sell it online and get the most for your horn. _________________ Professional lower-split 3rd clarinet player. |

I actually got it from there. I'm just going to do it through Craig's List. It's not hard to find in a search in case anyone here is local and interested in it. _________________ Yamaha 8335LA with Blessing 3C, 5C, Schilke 11A4A |

They're a pretty nice shop and basically the last music store standing around here.
It's a nice horn though and Craig's List it is. I'm going to lower the price each week lol. _________________ Yamaha 8335LA with Blessing 3C, 5C, Schilke 11A4A |

You have no guarantees either as a seller or buyer on craigs list. If you use it make sure your transaction is well documented; plenty of photos and text and written confirmation from the buyer.
p.s. Personally, I would never use craigs list unless I could make the final transaction in person. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

Do not sell on Craigslist. This isn't 1998. You have no protections. Ebay is your best bet. _________________ Professional lower-split 3rd clarinet player. |

Places I recommend to sell:
1. Trumpetherald or Trumpetboards
2. Reverb
3. Facebook marketplace
I don't deal with Craigslist anymore, and eBay charges too much in fees. _________________ Please join me as well at:

That's exactly how I do it. I already told someone in FLorida of all places, who called me about it, that unless he wants to fly out here and meet in person won't sell it to him. _________________ Yamaha 8335LA with Blessing 3C, 5C, Schilke 11A4A |
