Today I saw an older Jupiter trumpet model, likely intermediate, that came with both a Bb & C tuning slide. Any info on this horn…model etc appreciated.

I got one of them because I needed a C trumpet. Liked the idea of having both in a single horn. I'd have to say it was functional but I quickly got rid of it and got a proper C.
The problem was there was only a tuning slide change from Bb to C. To have a good horn the valve slides are different between Bb and C trumpets. You could get close but you will spend a lot of time lipping notes either up or down.
The horn itself was well built but it just had too many compromises to prevent it from being a great C or Bb. _________________ Dave
