Well, in the absence of any response, I'll share that I have a 163 D Massive.
I, surprisingly, got a Schilke Model 12 by mistake but have really ben enjoying it. I got that at about the same time as the Donat and the Donat has just been sitting on the sidelines.
That's not to say that I eventually might not prefer the Donat, but at the moment I'm really pleased with this Schilke. _________________ "If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn." Bird

The massive 168D is a decent mouthpiece. Not too bright, C-shaped cup, easy to play, sound a bit "aggressive". It depends on what context you want to use it in |

I finally got a used 168D. What can I say? Try it! It's super awesome, never tried anything like it. Someone won't like it? Ok, but it's a must try. It is incredibly versatile. Easy to play, it goes up like a charm. An all round mouthpiece, great for jazz. |
