About a year ago I bought an old holton trumpet for $100. I didn't know much about trumpets but after doing some research I'm pretty sure its a "New Holton Trumpet" from about 1914. It's raw brass so it is now a weird brown color ,and it has a patch in the bell ,but other than that and some minor dents it seems to be in perfect working order. I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it ,some of the history from when it was made/ how much it could be worth.

https://www.horn-u-copia.net/

In case you haven’t yet landed there.

There is a New Holton from 1909 in the images. I have also found the forum to be useful.
