Is there anywhere I can get a new Al Cass 1-28? I lost my beloved mouthpiece this past weekend on a gig.

Al Cass pieces are no longer made. Kanstul made some about 10 years ago but Kanstul is gone now. Other than picking up one used (place an ad on the site; someone likely has one that they will sell) you could try -

Steve Cass/Cassenelli - (seller funnymaniac2 on ebay; Al Cass's son) Also see a recent ad here for contact info:

Reproductions made by:
Jim New - https://james-r-new.com/mouthpieces/ - I have had a couple of Cass copies by Jim that are very good.

Austin Custom Brass - https://www.austincustombrass.biz/ - Trent offers his take on a 1-27 so could likely make a 1-28.

Legends Brass - https://legendsbrass.com/ - They make copies and versions of a variety of classic mouthpieces. While I do not see a 1-28 listed, I would imagine they have the specs to produce one.
