To my scholarly colleagues:
This piece is on the upcoming San Francisco trumpet audition. They mailed out a copy of the part, but I'm having a hard time finding a good recording. There are many recordings of the "Variations, op. 31", but not so many of this one. The original was for winds, I think, designated Op. 43a - but I'd like to find a professional orchestra recording if one exists.
Anybody know of one? |
